The four dimensions
Every interview answer is scored on the same four things.
- Relevance — did you answer the question that was asked?
- Structure — could someone follow the shape of your answer?
- Specificity — did you give a real example with real detail?
- Delivery — pace, clarity and filler words.
If one is low
Specificity is the one most people lose marks on, and it is the easiest to fix: name the situation, what you actually did, and how it turned out.
