MyThorneAI — Career Readiness Training for Students in Transition

Setting up single sign-on

SAML and OIDC, the three values you will need, and how to test safely.

1 min read · Updated September 2026

What you will need

Whichever provider you use, it comes down to three values.

  1. Your provider’s metadata URL or issuer.
  2. The MyThorneAI callback URL, shown on the SSO settings page.
  3. An email claim, so accounts match your existing rosters.

Test before you enforce

Enable SSO in test mode first. It lets you sign in through your provider while password login still works, so a misconfiguration cannot lock out the whole school.
