The roles
Every member holds exactly one role in the organization.
- Student — their own work only.
- Teacher — their classes, plus the lesson library.
- Admin — all classes, users, rosters and settings.
- Owner — everything, plus billing and SSO. There must always be one.
Changing someone’s role
Role changes take effect immediately and are written to the audit log. Demoting a teacher does not delete their classes; it removes their access to them.
