Spent fifteen years in workforce development before deciding the tooling had to exist.
I have worked in higher education, academic advising, admissions, disability services, career development and talent acquisition — which means I have sat on both sides of the hiring table more times than I can count.
Founding Thorne Consulting in 2023 put me back in front of students every week. The pattern was impossible to miss: they could describe an interview perfectly and still freeze in one. Career readiness has to start years before anyone is job hunting, and it has to involve practice.
Most of my week is spent with districts and workforce boards. The rest is spent arguing, productively, with Sirshak about what we build next.
